Women Studies & Development Cell, Dispensary Committee along with IQAC cell of Govt PG College for women sec 14 Panchkula in collaboration with Civil Hospital, sec 6, Panchkula organised a "Health Screening and Awareness Camp" on 12.05.2022 for the physical and mental awareness about Menstrual hygiene and mental well being.
The program was inaugurated by the Principal Dr Rajiv Chaudhary, Mrs Alka Sharma, Convenor, Women Cell and Incharge, Dispensary Dr Rita Kalra, SMO, civil hospital, Panchkula.
,The team from Health Department monitored HB, Sugar and BP of almost 200 students and 50 staff members of the college. Dr Rita Kalra provided guidance to the students about Menstrual problems.Dr Anu Bansal, Psychologist, discussed with the students about the methods to improve mental health. Dr Monika informed the students about various reasons for the spread of HIV and AIDS.
All the members of the Women Cell committee , Dr Madhu, Ms Latika,Ms Anju Goel, Ms Kusum, Ms Sukriti, Ms Kalpana and Ms Anita Raj helped in making this event a success.
Ms Alka Sharma thanked the principal and all the members of the health department for this informative and useful event.
