The cut throat competition at all
levels in the job market demands a support system that enables the students of
an institution to not only attain the academic excellence but to find a
comfortable placement in life. With this objective, an Online Career Counselling
Session on “Career Options for B.Sc. Medical Students” was organized by the
Placement Cell, on 19th November,2020. Dr. Bindu Rani, Assistant
Professor of Zoology from Govt. P.G. College, Kalka was the guest speaker on
this occasion. She gave detailed information about areas of higher studies and
research for medical students in important fields like Applied Sciences,
Genetic Engineering, Forestry and Forensic Science.
While discussing about development of entrepreneur skills
among the students,
she elaborated on how they can establish self-business in the fields such as vermicomposting, fish farming, poultry, horticulture, organic farming etc. She
explained about various job options available to students after completion of B.Sc. (Medical)
in government and non- government sectors. In addition, she told about the
scope of research in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biophysics
etc. and renowned research institutes/ universities available for students in
Haryana and other states. This program was attended by thirty six students from
B.Sc. Medical III year who joined with the speaker through Google Meet and
actively interacted with her to ask their queries. The speaker entertained all
the queries by the students and answered them satisfactorily. Worthy Principal
Mrs. Babita Verma motivated the students, saying that, well planned and
organized career counseling at the institutional level is helpful for student's
career progression.
(2) Name of Activity: Online Expert Talk On
“Stages of Start-up” For the Students of Commerce Stream.

An online Expert Talk on the topic “Stages of Startup”, for
the students of Commerce Stream was organized by Career Guidance and Placement
cell at Govt. P.G. College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula on 23rd
November, 2020. The main objective of this program was to make the students
aware about the concept, relevance and stages of startup. The lecture was
delivered by Ms. Tanushree Chandra, Centre Head, Startup Incubator Centre of
Excellence, Sector-1, Panchkula, in order to encourage the students in believing
that they can follow their career pursuits through their own startup.
Seventy-four final year students of Commerce Stream attended this program and
got benefitted.
Major highlights of the lecture delivered by Ms. Tanushree Chandra
were:
1.
Discussion on concept of startup
and why theses have become important of paramount value for the growth of the economy.
2.
Funding sources and role of incubators for
establishing startups.
3.
Detailed explanation of six stages of startup, from
idea generation to conception then committing, validation, scaling and finally
establishment of startup.
The
lecture was of great success. It helped the students to know about something
new and prepare themselves for something innovative and novel.

An online Counselling Session on
“Startup 1-o-1, From Idea to Success” for students of all the streams was
organized by Career Guidance and Placement cell at Govt.
P.G. College for Women, Sector-14,
Panchkula on 18th
December, 2020. The main objective of this program was to develop
entrepreneurship skills among the students and to make them aware about the concept,
relevance and accurate time to carry out a startup. The
lecture was delivered
by Mr. Vineet Khurana, Executive Director, Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce, India, in order to encourage the
students in believing that they can follow their career pursuits through their
own startup. Forty-two final year students of different stream attended this
program and got benefitted. Main emphasis of the session was to introduce the students to the concept
of startup and its importance for the growth of
the economy. They were told about funding
sources and role of incubators in establishing startups,
different stages of startup from idea generation to conception, then
committing, validation, scaling and finally its establishment. The students
were also given examples of famous personalities who successfully established
their startups and created huge business. The lecture was of great success. It helped the students to know about startup ideas and prepare themselves
for something innovative and unique.

An online Counselling Session on
Startup Program, “My Success Story” for
students of all the streams was organized by Career Guidance and Placement cell
at Govt. P.G. College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula on 23rd December, 2020. The main objective of this
program was to have direct interaction of the students with personalities who
achieved success in their startup ideas. The talk was delivered by Mr. Sachin
Sardana, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer
at Dhurina (An e-Learning platform
for competitive exams launched
in June,2019, who shared the success story of his startup idea with the
students. He talked about various important aspects such as long-term vision,
previous work done by people in any startup, price and quality of product,
marketing skills, presentation skills and challenges to be faced in the initial
stage of a startup. He encouraged the students
to have confidence in their ideas and to begin with small scale survey model in initial
stages of their business. Eighty-five students from B.Sc.III
Medical, B.Com. I, B.Com. III, B.Com. III (Hons),
BBA I, BCA I, M.Com. II and M.Sc. II (Human Development) attended this program
and got benefitted. The session was very informative and encouraging. It helped the students to know about various necessary steps to be taken
before they launch their startup ideas.

An online interactive discussion session on “Higher
Education Schemes in Haryana”, for
students of all the streams was organized
under Career Guidance
and Placement cell on 1st January, 2021. The main objective of this program was to make the students
aware about various
schemes being run by Government of Haryana for the
students pursuing higher education. The talk was delivered by Dr. Hemant,
Deputy Director, Department of Higher Education, Haryana, Panchkula, in order
to make the students aware about schemes related to scholarships/stipends for
students, women empowerment, sports and gymnasium facilities, educational
tours, EWYL scheme, e-Content, digital library etc. While talking on career
guidance and placement, Dr. Hemant discussed about the schemes for job
interview preparation, placement fair for students, skill development, training programs,
entrepreneurship development and establishment of Startups. Sixty-nine students from BCA I, B.Com. III, M.Com. II. B.Sc. (M) I
& III streams attended this program and got benefitted. The students asked
their queries/issues pertaining to various schemes which were satisfactorily
replied by the speaker. The session was quite informative and interactive and
helped the students to know about the schemes launched by government for their benefit.

An online Awareness
Session on E-Karma Digital Training Program for students of all the streams
was organized by Career Guidance and Placement cell at Govt. P.G. College for
Women, Sector-14, Panchkula on 16th January, 2021. The main
objective of this program was to make the students aware about the E-Karma
Digital Training Program,
being run by Govt. of Haryana under
“SKILL INDIA” mission.
The talk was
delivered by Ms. Deepti Gupta, Centre Manager, E-Karma
Training Centre, Sector-1, Panchkula, in order to encourage the students to
join this training program after completion of their graduation. She told the students that this training is of four to
six months duration and is provided free of cost by Govt. of Haryana. The main
objective of this training program is to provide adequate training in
market-relevant skills to the youth and to create opportunities of
self-employment for them. The training has both technical and non-technical
areas for students, depending upon their subjects. She encouraged the students
to join the training as after successful completion of training, the students get completion certificate from Department of Higher Education, Haryana and they also get opportunity to work on free lancing
portals used by Indian and foreign clients. Ninety-eight students from B.Sc.
III (M), B.Sc. II (M), B.Sc. III (N.M), B.Com.III, B. Com II, BBA II, BCA I and
BCA II
attended this program and got benefitted. The lecture
was of great success as it helped the students to know about a new platform
through which they can acquire digital and marketing skills.

An online Interactive Session on Entrepreneurship and Start-up Ecosystem, for
students of medical stream was organized by Startup Incubator Centre, Govt.
College Sector -1, Panchkula in collaboration with Career Guidance and
Placement cell on 05th
February, 2021. The main objective of this program was to provide guidance
to medical students
regarding startup opportunities available in healthcare industry. The talk was
delivered by Mr. M.K. Bhatia,
Founder, MITS Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. who shared his business success
story with the students. The speaker motivated the students to set their
goals according to their passion and accept all the challenges which come during
the process of becoming an entrepreneur. He emphasized the importance
of dedication to work, team spirit, money management, resource
finding, marketing skills and knowledge about investment and returns in a startup program. He told about
various options such as retail pharmacy store, wellness and fitness centers,
diagnostic centers, herbal
products manufacturing etc. in which the students
from medical background can go with their startups.
Forty-two students from B.Sc. I, II, III (Medical) joined this
session and got benefitted. They actively participated
in discussion with the speaker and their queries were answered satisfactorily. The lecture was of great success as it helped
the students to know about entrepreneurial
potential in medical and healthcare industry.

on Setting Start
up in Ed-Tech, for students
of all the streams was organized
by Startup Incubator Centre, Govt. College Sector -1, Panchkula in
collaboration with Career Guidance and Placement cell on 27th April,
2021.The main objective of this program
was to provide guidance to the students regarding startup opportunities
available in the field of Ed-Tech. The talk was delivered by Mr. Ankush
Bhandari, Founder, Tech for Educators- A Google Cloud Partner Company, who
shared his business success story with the students. He discussed the different
factors fueling Ed-Tech growth in present times such as adoption of technology
due to COVID-19, new skills that can be imparted to school kids, reskilling and
upskilling of corporates, export of services, use of new technologies like gamification and augmented reality etc.
The speaker told the students about various programs that can be taught through
Ed-Tech like hobbies, health programs, preparation of competitive exams,
teaching school/ college students etc. He also explained the business models
for Ed-Tech through examples, finding the right marketplace for startup, drawbacks of traditional marketing and importance of
digital assets. Thirty-six students from B.Sc. II & III (Medical),
B.Sc.III (NM) and M.Com.I joined this session and got benefitted. They actively
participated in discussion with the speaker and their queries were answered
satisfactorily. The session was of great success as it helped the students to
know about entrepreneurial potential in the field of education through digital platform.

A 10 days “Start
Up Awareness Program” was organized by Start Up Incubator Centre Sector-1
Panchkula in collaboration with Career Guidance and Placement Cell, Govt. P.G.
College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula from May 17th to May 28th, 2021.The program was organized under the aegis of Director General Higher Education, Haryana. The
main objective of the program was to make the students aware about the
entrepreneurship essentials that will help turn an idea into a successful
venture and gain valuable real-world experience from company founders. Centre
Heads from Startup Incubator Centres of Excellence in Haryana, industry experts
and founders of various companies namely Ms. Shilpa Saluja,
Ms. Smriti Sharma,
Ms. Anjali Grover Sharma,
Mr. Saurabh Trivedi,
Ms. Tanushree Chandra,
Ms. Meenakshi Gupta,
Mr. Vishal Tandon and
Mr. Ashish Chhabra discussed various
strategies that can help both entrepreneurs and students to launch better products and services with a higher
chance of succeeding in the market.
They guided the students with tips for starting a business, run a successful
business, how to adapt to changing situations, develop the skills required to deal with stress
and impending deadlines
and create vision
board to accomplish the goals. The students were also made familiar with the
importance of effective presentation and good communication skills, digital
marketing and creating a business
plan. On the concluding day, various budding
entrepreneurs interacted with the students shared their
experiences with them. The Director General Higher Education, Haryana was the
chief guest of the valedictory session. Deputy Director,

Verma and Principals of some government colleges were also present on the
occasion. The chief guest motivated the students to become self-dependent and
create jobs for themselves and others. He emphasized that startups play very
important role in creating better economic opportunities for students and
shaping the youth in right direction. This program was attended by sixty- eight
students from different streams i.e. B.Sc. III & II (Med), B.Sc. III &
II (NM), B.Com. I, B.Com. II, BBA I, B.Sc. II (H. Sc.). It can be concluded
that the program provided a way to create an intensive educational experience
in a short span of time for the maximum benefit of the students.

June to 25th June, 2021. The main objective of the program was
to make the students aware about the use of technology in every function of
business such as marketing, sales, HR, growth etc. It was organized under the
aegis of Department of Higher Education, Haryana. During the program, Centre
Heads from Startup Incubator Centres of Excellence in Haryana, industry experts
and founders and CEOs of various
companies namely Mr. Vineet Khurana,
Ms. Smriti Sharma,
Mr. Gulshan Rana, Mr. Dheeraj Phukan, Mr. Kunal
Mathur, Mr. Praveen Prashant, Mr. Mohit, Mr. Manmeet Singh Duggal and Mr. Rahul Sehgal interacted with the students
and told them about importance of using technology in startups. They
discussed the various means through which students can easily use the
technology for their benefit. The students were taught
about using CRM tools to manage all the key functions of the business,
use of Canva- the easiest
tool on internet to design creatives for social media, website and
presentations and building a website with drag and drop tools. The students
were also made familiar with e-mail marketing to grow faster in a business,
affiliate marketing, significance of WhatsApp business marketing, building
social media presence organically, online marketplace and running
advertisements on social sites like facebook and instagram. This program was
attended by sixty-nine students from different streams i.e., B.Sc. III & II
(Med), B.Sc. III (NM), B.Com. I,
B.Com.II, B.Com. III (Hons.), BBA I, B.Sc. I (H. Sc.). The program provided a
thorough educational experience in a short span of time for the maximum benefit
of students, as they came to know
about several technological skills and resources to learn them.

A career in civil services gives the opportunity to
participate in governance and making important policy decisions for the
country. There is immense prestige and power attached to the services and one
travels the lengths and breadths of the country meeting different types of
people often listening to their problems and
come up with solutions to resolve those problems. Thus, it has immense opportunities to provide social
service to people in need and serving the nation. With this objective,
an Online Awareness Session on “Preparation
of Civil Services Exams” was organized by the Placement Cell, on 29th June,2021. Mr. Naman Sharma, Founder and CEO of Naman
Sharma IAS Study Hub, was the guest speaker on this occasion. He guided the
students on preparation strategy for civil services exam and the exam
structure. He said that civil services is the dream career of millions of
aspirants. But, being the toughest exam in the country, it requires more than
just preparation. The speaker emphasised the need of a smart strategy that must
be prepared, keeping in mind the details of each step that the aspirants have
to go through before starting the preparation. He said that it is very important
for aspirants to know and understand the requirements of the examination such
as the exam syllabus, pattern, eligibility criteria, application procedure
and other such significant details
before starting the registrations. This program was
attended by ninety-two students from B.A III, B.Sc. II &III (Med), B.Sc.III
(NM) and B.Com. III (Hons), who joined with the speaker through Google Meet.
The session was quite interactive and all the queries of the students were
answered satisfactorily by the speaker. Worthy Principal Mrs. Babita Verma
motivated the students, saying that, well planned and organized career
counselling at the institutional level is helpful for student's career
progression. The wide variety of jobs within the ambit of the Civil Services
offer greater sphere of authority and power than any other services in India.
It offers the rare opportunity to fulfil personal ambition as well as to work
for social welfare.

JULY 2019
1. Vocational
Guidance Week
“Vocational
Guidance Week” was celebrated in the college on 23rd July, 2019. On
this occasion a counselling session was organised by Placement Cell in
collaboration with District Employment Exchange , Panchkula. 84 final year
students participated in this program and got benefitted. Senior officials from
District Employment Exchange , Panchkula addressed the students and guided them
about the type of vocational courses they can enter into depending upon their
subjects. The students were also informed about the jobs available to them
after completing a particular type of vocational course. The program was coordinated
by members of placement cell team.
AUGUST 2019
2. Counselling
Session on “ Industrial Training”
A
counselling session on Industrial
Training was organised under Placement Cell on 22nd August,
2019. The program was conducted by “Excellence Industrial Training Institute”
Panchkula which provides training to the students under NSDL course under Prime
Minister’s Yojana. Ms. Taruna Rawal from EITI interacted with the students and
discussed about benefits of taking Industrial Training and job opportunities
available under NSDL course. She also guided the students about internship
training and placement services provided by EITI in different sectors. This
program was attended by 53 students from various streams, who actively
interacted with the speaker and asked their queries regarding the mentioned
scheme.
3.
District Level ROZGAR MELA
District
Level “ROZGAR MELA” was organised by District Employment Exchange,
Panchkula in collaboration with Govt. P.G. College Sector- 1, Panchkula on 27th
August, 2019. On this occasion, senior officials from District Employment
Exchange addressed the students and gave information on EDP Training, Financial
Assistance Schemes, Prime Minister Employment generation programme, loan
facility and employment options available in various sectors. Sixteen companies
arrived at GC Sector -1 College campus and conducted interviews for different
jobs. Thirty students of different streams from our college attended this
program. They got themselves registered with District Employment Exchange,
Panchkula and also appeared for interview under various companies. The students
were accompanied by placement cell team members Dr. Kiran Bala and Dr. Aparna Sharma.

4. WORKSHOP
ON “PREPARATION OF CIVIL SERVICES EXAMS” ORGANISED BY CAREER GUIDANCE AND
PLACEMENT CELL
A 12 days
workshop on “ Preparation of Civil Services Exams” was organized by Career
Guidance and Placement cell at Govt. P.G. College for Women, Sector-14,
Panchkula from September 16th to September 30th , 2019 in collaboration with Raj Malhotra’s IAS Study Group, Chandigarh. The main objective of
the workshop was to make the students aware about the preparation for the
prestigious civil services exam, to boost the confidence level of students and
assist them in preparing for their career pursuits. Workshop was attended by 60
students from all streams i.e. Arts, Science and Commerce. Professional Experts
from Raj Malhotra’s IAS Study Group such as Mr. Raj Malhotra, Mr. Maninder
Singh, Ms. Samriti, Mr. Raghav, Mr. Aakash, Ms. Megha, Mr. Vishal and Mr.
Jansher discussed various aspects of civil services exam. They guided the students with tips for clearing papers in
preliminary exam, ideas to clear main exam with high marks, how to select the
optional paper, how to be effective in Personality test i.e. Interview, how to
read newspapers, how to cover NCERT syllabus etc. The workshop invoked the
participants regarding their career pursuance in the competitive environment.
Major
highlights of the workshop were:

syllabus & pattern and preparation strategies.
2.
Special talks on recent
developments in Science & Technology, Economy, Polity and various aspects
of Geography, History & Professional ethics.
3.
Sessions by eminent faculty on how to master
current affairs by interlinking different streams.
It
can be conclude that this workshop provided a way to create an intensive
educational experience in a short span of time for the maximum benefit of the
students.
5.
Extension lectures
organised with Department of Geography
Placement
cell in collaboration with Department of Geography, organised two extension
lectures on 28th September, 2019, on the topics Basis of Remote
Sensing and Applications of Remote Sensing. Dr. Anup Kumar, Senior Scientist
HARSAC Hisar, presently working at Panchkula in Department of science and
technology, delivered the lectures. Students
were enlightened by the Applications of Remote Sensing Geology and
Geomorphology. The detailed knowledge was given by imageries, power points and
by showing working models of satellites. Principal Mrs. Indira Goyal appreciated
for organising this type of activity and said that organising such lectures
will shape the future of the students. On this occasion, Head of Deptt. Dr. Veena Rani and Ms. Meenu Rani with other
staff members were present. 90 undergraduate students of Geography attended
these lectures and got benefitted.
6.
Extension lectures
organised with Department of Physics
Placement
cell in collaboration with Department of Physics, organised two extension
lectures on 30th September, 2019, on the topics Review of
Solar Cells and Fundamentals of
Nanomaterials. The topics are from the syllabus of B.Sc
classes. Resource person Dr. Manish Kumar Kashyap from Department of
Physics Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra, explained about solar cell materials
and nanomaterials and their applications. These are very advance materials and
creating a new revolution in energy pr, oduction field. Students can
pursue research in these fields as there
is lot of to be discovered in these fields. Total 103 students of B.Sc. (N.M)
classes attended the extension lectures and got benefitted. Principal Mrs.

Ranjeet Singh, Mr. Aman and Dr. B.D. Arya graced this occasion.

Extension lectures
organised with Department of Psychology
Placement cell in collaboration with Department of
Psychology, organised two extension lectures in Psychology on 9th
October, 2019 from 10.00 a.m to 12.00 p.m in Room no. 407. Sh. H.C. Gupta
chairman of Shree Kailash Mansarovar Sewa Samiti, Panchkula delivered lectures
on the topics of Stress Management and Health Psychology. Total 67 students
were present in these lectures. Dr. Savita Dhull, Dr. Sunita (Psychology
Department) and Dr. Bharti Chhikara (Geography Department) were also present in
these lectures.

Session by Start up Incubator Centre
Counselling
session on Entrepreneurship Development was organised in the college on 09th
November, 2019. Ms. Rupali from Startup Incubator Centre, Govt. College Sector
1 Panchkula delivered a talk and interacted with the students on business ideas
and entrepreneurship development. 27 students of different streams (B.Com I,
B.Sc I Med, B.Sc III N.M) participated in this program and got benefitted. The
program was coordinated by members of placement cell team.

Lecture on Vocational Guidance
An
extension lecture on “Vocational Guidance” was organised in the college on 22nd
Janaury, 2020. On this occasion District Employment Officer, Panchkula Mrs. Mamta Boora, Dr. Reetika and Mr.
Surender Pal Singh from AMITY Chandigarh interacted with the students and
guided them about the type of vocational courses they can choose after

Extension Lectures on
“Career Options and Research Areas for B.Sc. Medical students”
The cut throat competition
at all levels in the job market demands a support system that enables the
students of an institution to not only attain the academic excellence but to
find a comfortable placement in life. With this objective, special coaching classes on
“Career Options and Research Areas for B.Sc. Medical students” were
organised by Department of Zoology in collaboration with Placement Cell, from
23rd January to 25th January 2020. Dr. Bindu, Assistant Professor of
Zoology from Govt. College Kalka was the speaker on this occasion. On the first
day she discussed about various job options available to students after
completion of B.Sc (Med.) with main emphasis on Career in Forestry. On second
day she gave detailed information about areas of higher studies for medical
students and research opportunities in the fields of Physiological Sciences and
Genetic Engineering. On the third day her main focus was to develop
entrepreneur skills among the students. She elaborated on how the students can
establish self business in the fields of Economic Zoology such as vermicomposting,
fish farming, bee keeping, poultry etc. In addition, she also explained the
scope of research in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology in relation to Economic
Zoology. This program was attended by 62 students from B.Sc Med. I, II and III
who actively interacted with the speaker and asked their queries. Principal,
Mrs. Indira Goyal motivated the students, saying that, well planned and organized
career counseling at the institutional level is helpful for student's career
progression.

Placement cell in collaboration
with Department of Mathematics, organised two extension lectures on 24th January, 2020. Dr. Neela Pawar, Associate professor, MCM
DAV College for Women, Sector 36A
Chandigarh explained about the “ Mathematics
and Careers” and “Applications of Mathematics” in various fields. She
interacted about the higher studies and research fields in Mathematics. Total
130 students from B.Sc, BA and B.Com attended the extension lecture and got
benefited. Principal, Mrs. Indira Goyal graced the occasion and motivated the
students for higher studies in Mathematics and discussed application of
Mathematics in different aspects of life.

of Body Language, Facing Interviews, Confidence Building and Group Discussion
etc. so as to prepare them for job interviews to be held on 12th and
13th Feb, 2020. Seventy final year
students from various streams i.e. B.Sc. (Medical) III, B.Sc. ( Non
Medical) III, B.Com III, BCA III, B.A. III, M.Com.II and M.Sc.II (Home Science)
participated in this program and got benefitted.

fest was organised at Govt. P.G. College Sector- 1
Panchkula, under Career Guidance and
Placement Cell from 12th February to 13th February 2020. During
this two days program the students appeared in interviews conducted by 55
different companies in the campus of Govt. P.G. College Sector- 1 Panchkula.
On 12th
February the interviews were for Arts and Commerce students and on 13th
February the interviews were conducted mainly for Science, Home Science
and Computer Science students. Fifty nine final year students from various
streams i.e. B.Sc. (Medical) III, B.Com III, BCA III, B.A. III, and M.Sc.II
(Home Science) participated in this program and got benefitted.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran (Mohali)
An
extension on “Career opportunities after graduation” was organised under Placement
Cell on 07th February, 2020. The program was conducted by
Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran (Mohali) in which language
trainer Mrs. Urmila Sharma explained about Spoken English and Communication
Skills to the students. Mrs. Jagmeet interacted with the students on Time
management and Stress management and also discussed about various higher
education options available to student after graduation. This program was
attended by 80 students from various streams i.e. B.Sc. (Medical) I, II, III,
B.Sc. (Non Medical) III, B.Com III, BCA I and BBA III, who actively interacted
with the speaker and asked their queries.

aptitude test “Inquizitive Minds -2018” was organized from 9th Aug
to 11th Aug 2018 in collaboration with Career Launcher Academy. It
was the college level round in which around 350 students of final year of all
the streams participated.

career counseling session on “Latest technologies and Job Opportunities in the
field of IT” for the final year students of all the streams was organized by
Solitaire Infosys Mohali on 29th Aug 2018. A general aptitude test
was also conducted through which the company shortlisted 42 students to have a
hands on experience on its overseas projects.

banking jobs) was organizd for final year students of all the streams on 5th
feb 2019. This session was organized by Oberoi Educational Trust Chandigarh.
The purpose of counselling session was to build the Interest and Knowledge of
students in Banking Sector. 86 students
from different streams participated in this event and got benefitted.

11th Feb 2019, AAA BRIGHT
ACADEMY, SECTOR-15A CHANDIGARH organized a career counselling session on
Training for Govt Jobs like Bank PO/ SSC/ clerk as well as Haryana Govt Jobs.
The Lecture was delivered by Mr.Sumit Mahajan, Centre Head, Panchkula, AAA
Bright Academy. 44 students from final year of different streams attended this

by a team of 3 members from District Employment Exchange, Panchkula. 68
students from B.Com and BBA streams attended this lecture.

Ø ‘BANKING
OLYMPIAD’ was organized at Oberoi Educational Trust on 7th March,
2019. 56 students from commerce, arts and science streams appeared in this
OLYMPIAD which included 100 objective type questions based on Banking
Knowledge. The duration of exam was 1 hour. The aim of the OLYMPIAD was to
enhance the knowledge of the students in banking sector and help them to make a
career in Banking Financial Service and Insurance Sector (BFSI).

career counselling session on Indian Administrative Services (IAS) was
organized on 14th March, 2019 by Abhimanu IAS Study Group,
Sector-25/ Chandigarh. The talk was delivered by Mrs. Vineet Aulakh, a
Motivational Speaker from Abhimanu IAS Study Group. 45 students attended this
session. The Aim of this session was to enhance the knowledge of students and
how to make a career in Administrative Services.
