Internal Complaint Committee [ICC] OF Goverment P.G. College for women ,sector 14
panchkula Organized an extension lecture on POSH Act Awarness. Principal Dr. Khushila,
welcomed the resource person , Dr. Anju jagpal . Associate Proffersor in English , Govt P.G.
College, Ambala cantt. by giving her a plant .
The speaker introduced the POSH Act, its history
and evolution , highlighting its significance in ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
Dr. Anju elaborated on the various form of sexual harassment .The extension lecture on
POSH Act awareness was an informative and engaging session that equipped participants
[113 students ] with the deeper understanding of the act and its implications. Speaker’s
presentations and discussion helped raise awareness about the importance of preventing
and addressing sexual harassment in the college and workplace.
The efforts made by ICC to organize this lecture
demonstrates its commitment to create a safe and respectful work environment . Students
and all ICC members Dr. Sudesh , Dr. Bharti , Dr. surender , Ms. kamlesh sharma ,Ms.
Renuka sharma [NGO] , Ms. Monika, Ms. Sarla, Ms. Deepika were also present there. The
