Diya making activity

Department of home science organized a Diya making activity on 10 November 2020 . Bsc. Home science & Msc. Human Development students are participated in these activities.
Different methods and techniques of decorating the Diya’s like painting, mirror, sparkle, etc. were used by the students.
15 students participated in Diya making activity.
All ceremonies, daily worship rituals, auspicious functions, religious occasions as well as new ventures start with lightning of the lamp. Diya is essential in Hinduism because it signifies purity, goodness, good luck and power. The presence of light means the non-existence of darkness and evil forces.
We’d like to thank Dr. Suman Bhambu, Ms. Mani Narwal and Ms. Anita for sharing her experience and knowledge to help us learn and improve our skills.
