Extension lecture on "Role of a Strong Personality in Grievance Management" by Women Cell

Women Studies and Development Cell along with Grievance and Internal Complaint Committee and Department of Economics organized an extension lecture on the topic, “Role of a Strong Personality in Grievance Management” on 1.02.24. The lecture was delivered by Mrs. Benu Rao, Director of Rao ‘s Academy, Sector 11, Panchkula.
Attended by around 60 students from across the streams, the discussion was based on grievances related to women’s issues and safety. The resource person informed the students about the redressal mechanisms such as laws and protection cells available if there were any incidents of cyber crime, eve teasing, rape, acid attack or domestic violence.
The guest was presented with a plant as a token of appreciation by Dr. Alka Sharma (Convener) and Dr. Shivani (HOD, Economics). The event was also attended by Dr. Anju Goel, Ms. Sukriti, Ms. Jyoti Berwal, Dr. Kalpna, Dr. Veenu and Dr. Neelima.
