Awareness campaign on "International Literacy Day" on 8th September 2025

Legal Literacy Cell of Govt PG College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula in collaboration with District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Panchkula, organised an Awareness campaign on "International Literacy Day" on 8th September 2025 under the guidance of worthy principal Dr Khushila and convenor Legal Literacy Cell Dr Shivani Kaushik. The resource person Advocate Akankasha Yadav reminds the students that literacy is not just the ability to read and write, but also the foundation for acquiring knowledge, developing skills, and enjoying equal opportunities in society. She also addressed the students about the about the flag codes.lastly, she concluded that literacy is not just a skill but a tool of knowledge and a gateway to rights.
The program was coordinated by the activity incharge Ms Shivani Singla. Around 52 students attended this event.
