The Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) and Women Cell of Government P.G. College for Women, Panchkula collaboratively celebrated World Creativity and Innovation Day on 21st April 2026 to encourage students to showcase their creativity, innovative thinking, and practical skills. The main objective of Organizing this event was to promote creativity and innovation among students, enhance their presentation and communication skills, and to provide a platform to express their ideas confidently. Fourteen students actively participated in this activity by preparing and presenting innovative dishes such as chana salad, brownies, cinnamon cake, pav bhaji, gulab jamun, Burger, litti Chou kha, Bati, veg biryani, momos, fruit custard, and more. Each participant prepared a unique recipe and presented it creatively. The focus was not only on cooking but also on innovation in presentation, combination of ingredients, and originality of ideas. The activity encouraged hands-on learning and real-life application of creative thinking. Students developed creativity and innovative thinking while preparing unique dishes. They improved their presentation and communication skills by explaining their ideas confidently. The activity also enhanced their teamwork, confidence, and ability to express ideas effectively.
Under the guidance and encouragement of Ms Sushila, Dr. Latesh, Dr Bharti, Dr Seema, and Ms Veenu Mittal, the event was successfully conducted, motivating students to actively participate and enhance their creativity, confidence, and communication skills. It provided a valuable learning experience and helped in overall personality development of students.
