The English Department of the college held a screening of two relevant movies titled- 'Naya Din, Nayi Raat' and 'Kanthapura' for the students of M.A. (English) and B.A. III on 14.11.2022. The event was attended by the Hon'ble Principal Dr. Richa Setia, HOD Ms. Suman Bhatia, Dr. Sarvjeet Kaur, Dr. Adarshdeep Kaur, Dr. Anjali Siwach, Dr. Hemant Verma, Ms. Alka Sharma and Ms. Sukriti Bhukkal. Technical support was given by Ms. Balwinder, Department of Chemistry. Around 100 students watched the movies and were benefitted as both these movies are based on prescribed texts. The screening concluded with a discussion on the films.
