ART AND CRAFT WORKSHOP
A marvellous Art and Craft workshop was organised for the students of Home Science in Govt. P.G. College sec14, Pkl. This was a three days workshop that took place from 9 may,2022 to 11 may,2022.This workshop took place for 2 hours from time- 12:00 o'clock to 2:00 pm. Mrs. Santosh who has mastered in Art and Craft field came from sector 19 Pkl with one of her helper. The different art and crafts taught by her includes Madhubani, Hoop art, Glass painting, Abstract painting in different styles. These all crafts were performed by each of the student in the guidance of ma'am. It helped the students a lot as all the arts made by them are the parts of their course syllabus. Students batch in the workshop includes all the undergraduate students from all three years of home science department.
The enthusiasm of doing and curiosity of learning was on the peak in the students. They attend the class in discipline and in a cooperative manner. Also the students performed 2 crafts each by their own. Students eagerly came forward to explore and learn new art. The Principal Dr. Rajiv Chaudhary Sir joined us on the initial day of the workshop to observe and praise the students participation. After the class both teachers and mentors were amazed by the student’s hard work. The saying “Learn with Fun" was proved. Teachers of home science department Dr. Suman Bhambu and Ms. Anita Raj were present in the workshop. Also a very special thanks to Dr. Suman Bhambu Head of the Home science department for organizing. This wonderful workshop for the student’s welfare.
