DISTRICT LEVEL INTER-COLLEGE COMPETITION ON THE THEME “SAY NO TO DRUGS”

The NCORD Cell of Government PG College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula organized a District Level Inter-College Competition on the theme “Say No to Drugs” under the guidance of worthy Principal Dr. Khushila on 2nd April 2026 in the Seminar Hall (Room No. 202). The event was conducted under the aegis of the State Anti-Drug Drive with the aim of spreading awareness about drug abuse and encouraging youth to contribute towards a drug-free society.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various colleges across the district. A total of 16 students actively participated in the competitions, while 81 students attended the programme. The competitions included Slogan Writing, Declamation Contest, and PowerPoint Presentation. Participants presented their ideas creatively and effectively, highlighting the harmful impact of drugs on individuals and society.
The competitions were judged by a panel of esteemed judges. For the Slogan Writing Competition, the judges were Ms. Vandana Goyat, Ms. Bharti, and Ms. Anju Goel (English). The Declamation Contest and PowerPoint Presentation were evaluated by Ms. Taruna, Dr. Seema Kumari, and Dr Reema. The judges appreciated the creativity, awareness, and confidence displayed by the participants.
The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Ms. Shivani Kaushik, Convener, NCORD Cell. The programme concluded with the declaration of winners, who were awarded e-certificates of merit.
