An extension lecture on “Comprehensive explanation of civil services exam” was organized by Commerce Department at Govt. P.G. College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula on Feb. 15, 2021. The main objective of the lecture was to make the students aware about the preparation for the prestigious civil services exam. Lecture was attended by 66 students from Commerce dept. from different classes i.e. B.com, B.com Hons, BBA and M.com.
Professional Experts Mr. Naman Sharma and Mr. Deepak from Naman Sharma IAS Study Hub discussed various aspects of civil services exam including preliminary exam, mains and personality test.
Lecture invoked the participants regarding their career pursuance in the competitive environment. Major highlights of the lecture were:
Discussion on exam syllabus & pattern and preparation tactics
Special talk on reading newspapers and strategies to update one’s current affairs
Guiding students about relevance of hard work and persistence in efforts to clear the competitive exams.
The lecture was of great success. It motivated the students to prepare themselves for competitive exams.
