Report of Five Days Skill Development Workshop (31.01.23 to 4.02.23)
In the gracious presence of Hon’ble Principal Dr. Richa Setia, a Five Day Skill Development Workshop was conducted under the aegis of the Women Studies and Development Cell (C – Ms. Alka Sharma) and the Placement Cell (C- Ms. Anjali Siwach) from 31.01.23 to 4.02.23. 70 students from all the streams have attended the workshop covering diverse area of interest included sessions related to Baking, Making Jewellery and Pot Decoration.
The 1st and 2nd day of workshop was dedicated to Baking skills, a young entrepreneur Ms. Shalini Sethi made students learn how to make cake, chocolate, marble, carrot and pineapple flavored muffins.
On 3rd and 4th day Mr. Shyam taught the students about clay art, texture work, pot painting and abstract design.
On the final day of workshop Ms. Meenakshi taught students how to make jewellery from quilling paper. Moreover, it was discussed how they could also take up these creative endeavors. In the next session of Nail art Ms. Lagan groomed the students on various nail art skills.
On the valedictory session Ms. Priyanka Punia encouraged the women students of the college to expand their innovative ideas and provided with guidance as to how their passion projects could bring them laurels in the entrepreneurial realm.
Members of WSDC and Placement Cell played an integral part in making the workshop a success.
