Lecture on Stress Management and Career Counseling by Mr. Gulshan Kumar Tyagi
On 28th March 2023, a lecture on stress management and career counseling was organised by the commerce society in collaboration with the economics department of Govt. P. G. College for Women, Sector 14, Panchkula. Mr. Gulshan Kumar Tyagi, retired principal from DAV Patiala who is now a CBSE mentor and counselor was the main speaker. Based on his 40 years of teaching experience, sir emphasized on how to get hundred percent marks by reviewing the structure and strength of question paper. He also talked about changes made in teaching during COVID times. Sir also gave meaningful tips on how to improve writing skills and how to improve self study. He also talked about 5 important friends of our life and three H companions that are hands, heart and head. Sir also talked about Meditation as a system reboot phenomena. Nearly 115 students attended the lecture. Ms. Shivani Kaushik, Ms. Latika, Ms. Suman and Ms. Laksha, Assistant professor from economics and commerce department also attended the same. In the end a vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Pooja, Assistant professor of Commerce.
