SURYA NAMASKAR ACTIVITY ON THE OCCASION OF MAKAR SAKRANTI

NSS Unit-I & II of Govt. PG College for Women organized a “Surya Namaskar” activity on the occasion of MakarSakranti i.e. on 14-01-2022 in response to a letter herewith attached. In this activity NSS volunteers from Unit- I & II participated from their home. They performed Surya Namaskar poses. A total of 136 students from both the units actively participated in this program. The govt. of India has desired that large scale virtual Surya Namaskarprogammes to be organized to mark the holy occasion of MakarSankranli under AzadikaAmritMahotsav celebrations. It is planned that 75 lakh people (participants) will practice Surya Namaskar observing covid appropriate behavior.
