Women Studies and Development Cell organized a “Women Health Education Seminar” on 8.11.23.

The seminar comprised thalassemia awareness, organ donation, stem cell donor registry, menstrual health and hygiene and anaemia testing.
The seminar was graced by the presence of specialists – Dr. Rita Kalra (Rotary Club, Chandigarh), Ms. Yasmin Bhasin, Ms. Parwinder Kaur ( Genexplore- Medisquare Diagnostics Center) and Mrs. Renuka Sharma (Parivartan NGO). WSDC convenor, Dr. Alka Sharma welcomed all the esteemed guests. Hon’ble Principal of the college, Dr. Richa Setia presented the guests with a plant as a token of appreciation.
The event was attended by around 200 students from across the streams. The members of WSDC contributed in making the seminar a success.
