On February 28, 2023, a district level 'Tete-a-Tete'was organized by the English Department and Women Studies and Development Cell of Government Post Graduate College for Women, Sector 14, Panchkula in collaboration with Shri Mata Mansa Devi Government Sanskrit College, Panchkula. This 'tete-a-tete' was with Dr. Gurpratap Singh Khairah who is also an educationist, poet and writer. Hon'ble Principal Dr. Ritu Yadav and special guest Ms. Rita Gupta formally welcomed Dr. Gurpratap. Dr. Alka Sharma conducted this program. In this program, Dr. Gurpratap talked about his novel 'How Dinkar lost his job and found his life', which covers all the nuances of the life of the modern youth. Answering the questions asked by Dr. Hemant Verma, he said that there are some examples in this novel which are inspired from the personal life of the author. Dr. Gurpratap shared with the students about the "Moratorium Phase" of his life that it was the phase when he was confused about what to do in life. He said that most of us face such challenges in our lives. Professors of the English Department and Women Cell and professors from Government Post Graduate College Sector 1 Panchkula were also present in this programme. Dr. Sarvjeet Kaur thanked all the guests from outside and the organizers of the event. Around 250 students enthusiastically participated in the programme.
