BAKERY WORKSHOP
An Amazing Bakery Workshop for Home Science students was organized in Govt. P.G. College for women, sector 14, Panchkula. This was a 3 day workshop which runs from 12 may 2022 to 14 may 2022 .It was a 2 hour class which continues from 12 o’clock to 2:00 pm. Mrs. Manju owner of friends baker shop of sector 20, Panchkula with one helper was there to teach the students . The Different confectioneries made by her includes chocolate sponge ,vanilla- flavoured sponges, dry cakes ,chocolate truffles, muffins and cakes with icing too .They taught the techniques of doing beautiful icings on cakes . It helped the students a lot because all this recipes were part of their course syllabus .Student crowd includes undergraduate students of home science from all three classes. The enthusiasm and curiosity seen in the students was at their peak. They attend the class in a disciplined manner and noted down all the instructions carefully. They eagerly come forward to explore all the new ingredients used, and various baking methods too. And after the class both teachers and students enjoyed the treat .It can be said as fun with learning. Teachers of Home Science Department Dr. Suman Bhambu and Ms. Anita raj and Lab attendant Ms. Manju were present during the workshop. A very special thanks to Dr. Suman Bhambu Head of the home science department who organized this wonderful workshop for students welfare. At last, the efforts of both teachers and college premises for the students was very appreciable.
