Celebration of World Entrepreneurship Day on 21.08.2024

Startup and Innovation Cell, Institution Innovation Cell in collaboration with Department of Computer Science and Department of Commerce & Management celebrated World Entrepreneurship day on 21 August,2024 at Govt. P.G. College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula under the guidance of Dr. Richa Setia. The resource person for the event was Ms. Tanushree Chandra, Head, Centre of Excellence, Startup and incubation Centre, Govt. College, Sector -1, Panchkula guided students about need of entrepreneurship now a days. A brief summary for startups/idea behind OYO, Mama Earth, NYKAA, Blinkit, Chat GPT etc. were given to students which inspired the student for news ideas. She discussed the strategy how business works and various innovative ideas behind them. Various fun games were conducted among students and the objective of the event was to enhance entrepreneurship skills of the students by strategic planning, creative thinking and managing time etc. 57 students of BBA, BCA attended the session. IIC President Mr. Pardeep Kumar, IIC Convenor Dr. Seema and Innovation Activity Incharge Ms. Reema Gupta, Dr Suman Assistant Professor (Commerce & Management) were coordinators for the event.
