Women cell organised peer mentoring session on “Identification and care of indoor plants” by students of third year B.Se life science
Sneha, Aditi, Reveena, Seema discussed on the importance and care of various indoor plants
ie Jade Plant, Snake plant Spider plant, Lucky bamboo. Aloe vera. Bryophyllum, Peace lily.
Syngonium, Rain lily, Monstera, Aerica palm. Al these plants help in air purification, to remove
harmful toxins like carcinogens formaldehyde, Increase oxygen concentration, transpiration from
leaves increases relative humidity, reduces stress; anxiety and improves mood. These plants add
beauty and freshness with less requirement.
