GITA JAYANTI MOHOTSAV (12th Dec 2021)

A one day educational trip was organised by NSS Unit-I and II on the auspicious occation of ‘Gita JayantiMohotsav’on 12th of December 2021. Students and volunteers were accompanied by Ms. Dimple (NSS Incharge of Unit-I) at 9.00am to Jainendra Public School. More than 120 students, NSS volunteers and NCC cadets actively participated in this event and learnt many new things during their exposure. Students were addressed by chief guest Shri. Gian Chand Gupta ji.In presence of SDM Smt. RichaRathee. Gita Mahotsav is an event centred around the Bhagavad Gita, celebrated on the ShuklaEkadashi. During this trip College students interact with school students and teachers and shared their ideas, thoughts and knowledge. Student learnt that how Bhagavad-Gita helps in inculcating value education not only amongst students but also to take a greater role in building capacity for institutional leaders. Importance of Bhagavad-Gita was told that how Bhagavad Gita’s teachings help the teachers, parents, the institutional leaders and management in performing their duties on without results of actions. Students also learnt that Bhagavad-Gita’s teachings teach the individuals to become self-controlled, selflessness, self-realization, self-study, self-regulation, self-discipline, self-development, and self-determination, self-confident, self-concept, self-esteemed, and so on. Overall it was a wonderful and very informative trip for students.
