Power Point Presentation on Drug Awareness was organized on 28 August 2024
at Govt PG College for Women by the Anti-Drug Cell and the National Service
Scheme (NSS).

The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug
abuse and promote preventive measures among students. Total 60 students
attended this program. 11 students presented ppt.
The program commenced with an inaugural address by Alka Sharma, the
convener of the Anti-Drug Cell highlighting the grave impact of drug abuse on
individuals and society. Jyoti Sharma, the convener of NSS, welcomed the
attendees. She underscored the importance of the event and expressed gratitude
to all participants for their engagement in this vital cause. Principal Ritu Yadav
encouraged students to take an active role in awareness campaigns and to
contribute to the collective effort against drug abuse.
The core of the event was a PowerPoint presentation by the students, focusing
on drug awareness. The presentation covered various aspects, including the
harmful effects of drug abuse, signs of addiction, and strategies for prevention.
The students’ effort was well-received. Payal, Aditi and Shalini begged 1st, 2nd
and 3rd position consecutively. Members Dr. Naveen, Dr. Neelima, and Dr.
Indu are also present in the program.
