Workshop on "Guiding students for various competitive exams" From 3-jan-2022 to 19-jan-2022 By women cell in association with placement cell and IQAC

Women Cell in association with Placement Cell and IQAC of Govt. PG College for Women sector-14,
Panchkula, organized an online fifteen days workshop on “Guiding students for various competitive
exams” from 03-01-2022 to 19-01-2022. This workshop was conducted by Grace Academy sector-14,
Panchkula. The esteemed faculty members of this academy enlightened students about various
competitive exams (UPSC, HPSC, HSSC, BANK-PO etc.) and their eligibility criteria along with what to study
and how to study for these exams. This workshop was managed by the convenor (Ms. Alka Sharma) of
women cell with following members Ms. Madhu, Ms. Anju Goel, Dr. Pooja, Ms. Latika, Ms. Sukriti, Dr.
Kalpna, Ms. Anita Raj and Ms. Kusum and following placement cell members Ms. Anjali (Convenor), Ms.
Tara, Ms. Kavita and Ms. Jyoti.
Everyday a 2:30 hour’s session was conducted on Zoom platform from 2:30PM to 5:00 PM in which 2-3
subjects were taught to the students. Quantitative aptitude (in which percentage, average, ratio were
taught), Reasoning (in which direction test, sitting arrangement was taught), Indian Polity (in which
features of Indian Constitution, Preamble, Parliament, Democracy, Fundamental rights, DPSP’s were
taught) English (in which reading comprehension, grammar was taught), Current affairs topics were also
discussed with the students. This workshop was envisaged to be of vital significance for the students as it
would provide them guidance to leverage their potential and acquire skills required to get into government
jobs and serve the country. This workshop turned out to be a success, made by enormous participation of
the students. More than 140 students took part in this educative workshop on a daily basis. Some of the
