A two-day workshop was organized on October 6th and 8th to commemorate Diwali, courtesy of the Women's Cell of the Government Women's College, Panchkula, and Pidilite Industries. The workshop was inaugurated by the college's Principal, Dr. Khusheela. The workshop was conducted under the auspices of Pidilite Coordinator, Mrs. Jaya Duggal. Students were taught to make torans, diyas, and decorating floating stones. Approximately 49 students participated. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Latesh, the Women's Cell in-charge, encouraged the participants for participating. College Principal Professor Ritu Yadav, Professor Alka Sharma, Professor Suman Bhambhu, and Dr. Rani Jindal were present at the closing ceremony.
